Leading with purpose and keeping communication strong.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

At Made in Durham, we believe that potential should be met with opportunity, not obstacles.

Our Community Engagement team connects people, programs, and opportunities across Durham’s life sciences pipeline. From supporting applicants through the process to coordinating community partnerships and the BULLS Ambassador Program, the team helps ensure that every student and family stays informed, supported, and connected.

This work is rooted in relationships that last. Because careers begin with connection.

This is only the beginning.

The video you just watched is part of “Made in Durham Explained,” a series that offers a closer look at how we do our work. It is about the policy work, advocacy, and partnerships that help create opportunities for young people in Durham. Every step we take together helps open the door to the next chapter for someone in our community, and that is what keeps us moving forward.

This is connected work. We can change how Durham supports young people from education to employment, but it takes leadership, care, and commitment.

Let’s connect.

If you are part of a company, foundation, or philanthropic organization and are interested in exploring potential collaborations to make a positive impact in our community, we would love to hear from you.
